CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2007-85 BY: Mayor O'Grady 14 A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO TERMINATE THE CITY'S CONTRACT WITHSPORTS VENUE ADVERTISING, INC. WHEREAS, this Council, pursuant to Resolution 2004-167, adopted on November 3, 2004, authorized the execution of a contract with Sports Venue Advertising, Inc. ("SVA"), providing for advertising on the dasherboards, walls and at other locations at the Recreation Complex; and WHEREAS, the said contract provides that either the City or SVA may terminate the contract upon providing thirty (30) days written notice to the other; and WHEREAS, upon review, it is the recommendation of the Director of Community Life Services and the Recreation Commissioner that the City terminate the said contract with Sports Venue; and WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has reviewed and approved the said recommendations of the Directar of Community Life Services and the Recreation Commissioner; and WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor, on behalf of the City, to terminate the City's contract with Sports Venue Advertising, Inc., in accordance with the applicable provisions of the contract between the parties; NO W THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED B Y THE CO UNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That this Council authorizes the Mayor to terminate the City's contract with Sports Venue Advertising, Inc., in accordance with the applicable provisions of the contract previously authorized by this Council pursuant to Resolution 2004-167.
