Y ? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2007-86 <br />BY: Mayor O'Grady and Council Member Dailey Jones <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 109.02 OF THE <br />ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, ENTITLED "PUBLIC <br />MEETINGS, " IN ORDER TO PRO VIDE FOR THE LA W <br />DEPARTMENT LEGAL SECRETARY TO PROVIDE <br />CLERICAL SUPPORT TO THE FAIR HOUSING REVIEW <br />BOARD. <br />WHEREAS, the duties of Administrator to the Fair Housing Review Board are now <br />performed within the Department of Law; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Law, in order to provide more <br />efficiently for the delivery of clerical support services ta the Fair Housing Review Board, <br />including but not limited to the preparation and mailing of public notices, preparation of agendas, <br />and preparation of ineeting minutes, that the legal secretary in the Department of Law be <br />designated by ordinance as the position charged with the duty to provide such clerical services to <br />the Fair Housing Review Board; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, acting upon the recommendation of the <br />Director of Law, to amend Section 109.02 of Chapter 109 of the Administrative Code, entitled <br />"Public Meetings," in order to provide for the legal secretary in the Department of Law to provide <br />clerical support services to the Fair Housing Review Board; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIiE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 109.02 ("Definitions") of Chapter 109 of the Administrative <br />Code, which presently reads as follows: <br />"109.02 DEFINITIONS. <br />As used in this chapter: <br />(a) "Clerk" means the following municipal employees for the meetings of ihe <br />following municipal bodies: <br />(1) Clerk of Commissions for all municipal bodies except as otherwise provided <br />in this paragraph (a) of Section 109.02; <br />(2) Clerk of Council for the City Council, all Council Committees, the Ethics <br />Commission, all Assessment Equalization Boards, and the Charter Review <br />Commission; <br />(3) Human Resource Department Secretary for the Human Relations Advisory <br />Board; <br />(4) Mayor's Secretary for the Board of Control, the Housing Council, the Tax <br />Incentive Review Council, and the Fair Housing Review Board; and <br />
