<br />Ordinance No. 2007-96 <br />SECTION ONE: That there be and hereby is created new Section 111.09 of the <br />Administrative Code of the City of North Olmsted, which, as created, shall read as follows: <br />111.09 PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENTS. <br />(a) The Mayor, or his designee, is authorized in his discretion to negotiate and enter <br />into a project labor agreement with the Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council, <br />or other appropriate trades union representative, in connection with the public bidding and <br />contract awarding process for any proposed City building or other City improvement project in <br />which the engineering construction estimate for the project is one hundred thousand dollars <br />($100,000) or greater. <br />(b) Where the Mayor determines to negotiate and subsequently enters into a project <br />labor agreement for any City improvement project that meets the cost estimate threshold <br />identified in paragraph (a) above, the bidding documents for such improvement project shall <br />contain a provision requiring the successful bidder to comply with and adhere to all of the <br />provisions of the project labor agreement entered into between the Mayor, on behalf of the <br />City, and the Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council, or other appropriate trades <br />union representative. <br />SECTION TWO: That any Ordinance or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with or in <br />conflict with this Ordinance, to the extent of any such inconsistency or conflict with this <br />Ordinance, be and hereby are repealed. <br />SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after the earliest date provided for by law. <br />PASSED: ?C)o <br />ATT L <br />; ? <br />BARBARA L.
