CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004-190 <br />BY: Mayor Musial and the Entire City Council <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND FIXING THE <br />COMPENSATION FOR THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE TERM OF OFFICE <br />COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2006 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, <br />2009 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, at Article IV, Section 6, <br />requires The Council to fix the compensation for all elected officials at least thirty (30) <br />days prior to the filing date of nominating petitions for terms beginning on the next <br />succeeding lst day of January; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the compensation for all <br />elected officials in compliance with the Charter requirements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the salary to be paid to the Director of Finance for the term <br />commencing January 1, 2006 and ending December 31, 2009, shall be as follows: <br />Effective January l, 2006 through December 31, 2006 -$88,688 <br />Effective January l, 2007 through December 31, 2007 -$90,683 <br />Effective January l, 2008 through December 31, 2008 -$92,723 <br />Effective January l, 2009 through December 31, 2009 -$94,810 <br />SECTION 2: That in addition to the salary specified in Section 1 hereof, the City <br />of North Olmsted shall provide Health Care coverage in an amount and to the extent that <br />such coverage is provided to non-bargaining unit administrative employees. <br />SECTION 3: That the compensation as specified in Section 1 and 2 hereof are <br />being established only for the purpose of complying with Charter requirements as <br />outlined in Article N, Section 6, and in no way affect any of the other provisions of any <br />ordinance relating to the organizational chart of either administrative or legislative <br />officers. <br />
