POLICE DEPARTMENT SECRETARY II <br />Formerly Secretary II within Division of Police <br />Effective July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005 the following base rate of pay shall be paid <br />providing the year(s) of full-time service requirement is met: <br />Employee having completed four (4) years of service $13.80 per hour <br />Employee having completed three (3) years of service $12.71 per hour <br />Employee having completed two (2) years of service $12.14 per hour <br />Employee having completed one (1) years of service $11.63 per hour <br />Employee starting Zero (0) year of service $11.15 per hour <br />Effective July 1,2005 through June 30, 2006 the following base rate of pay shall be paid <br />providing the year(s) of full-time service requirement is met: <br />Employee having completed four (4) years of service $14.42 per hour <br />Employee having completed three (3) years of service $13.28 per hour <br />Employee having completed two (2) years of service $12.69 per hour <br />Employee having completed one (1) years of service $12.15 per hour <br />Employee starting Zero (0) year of service $11,65 per hour <br />Effective July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 the following base rate of pay shall be paid <br />providing the year(s) of full-time service requirement is met: <br />Employee having completed four (4) years of service $15.07 per hour <br />Employee having completed three (3) years of service $13.88 per hour <br />Employee having completed two (2) years of service $13.26 per hour <br />Employee having completed one (1) years of service $12.70 per hour <br />Employee starting Zero (0) year of service $12.17 per hour <br />Employees that have been promoted to the classification of Police Department Secretary, <br />shall be eligible to move to the next higher pay rate step after completing one (1) continuous <br />year of service within this classification. Effective July 1, 2001, employees will be placed in the <br />appropriate step according to completed years of service. <br />To advance beyond step five (5), an employee is required to demonstrate skills at eighty <br />(80) percent competency. The assessment will be offered during the Spring and Fall of each <br />year to Employees who have the necessary years of service within that year. <br />An Employee must qualify at eighty (80%) percent competency only once in order to qualify <br />48 <br />
