<br />Ordinance No. 2004-175 <br />revised, from time to time, bv the Springvale Facility Manaaer in order to keep the off <br />season rates competitive. <br />Section 3: That the Ballroom rental rates and all golf and Ballroom program fees and <br />charges ar-e '? shall be established as follows: <br />Ballroom rental will range from $500 to $1,500. The exact Ballroom rental rate, as well <br />as additional fees and charges, to include Ballroom dancing, weddings, New Year's Eve Dinner <br />Dance, golf outings, all food and food services and all other special events shall be set by <br />the Springvale Facilitv Manager. The rates, fees, and charges will be based eii? standardized <br />shar-ge, depending on the number of persons attending the event, the menu chosen, as well as the <br />cost for any other amenities. All program rates, including any newly established gulf or <br />ballroom programs, shall be established through negotiation, the price of which shall be <br />determined by several factors, including but not limited to, (1) the duration of the program; (2) <br />the time that the facility will be leased; (3) the repetitive nature of any type of program; and (4) <br />the services requested. The amount to be charged or fees to be assessed, with respect to said <br />types of programs, shall be established ' <br />the Mayef.by the Sprinevale Facility Manager." <br />SECTION 2: There is hereby established new Section 4 of the Springvale Golf C'ourse <br />and Ballroom Rate and Fees Ordinance, which shall read in its entirety as follows: <br />"Section 4: Commencing on January 30, 2005, and no later than upon the thirtiet:h day <br />of each succeeding calendar quarter thereafter, the Springvale Facility Manager shall provide the <br />Board of Control with a report regarding rentals of the Ballroom and the Heritage Room ciuring <br />the immediately preceding calendar quarter. Such reports shall list in chronological order each <br />such rental, and state the name of the person or organization renting the facility, the nature of the <br />event underlying the rental, the number of persons who attended the event, whether the rental <br />was for the Ballroom or the Heritage Room only, the date and day of the week of the rental, the <br />gross revenue generated by the rental, including all additional fees and charges for food and food <br />services, and a statement of whether the gross revenues received for the rental, including <br />additional fees and charges, were competitive in light of market conditions and also in line with <br />gross revenues received for other similar recent rentals at the Facility. The Springvale Facility <br />Manager shall also provide a copy of such report to the chairpersons of the Finance Committee <br />and Recreation Committee of City Council. <br />The Springvale Facility Manager shall also, from time to time, review the rate schedules <br />set forth in this Ordinance, and recommend any changes he deems appropriate in such schedules <br />to the Board of Control. <br />The Board of Control shall meet, on at least one occasion each calendar quarter to review <br />the quarterly report received from the Springvale Facility Manager, any rate schedule changes <br />recommended by the Springvale Facility Manager, and for the purpose of making reports and <br />4
