CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2004 -160 BY: The Mayor and Entire City Council A RESOL UTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY GENERAL HEALTH DISTRICT FOR THE YEAR 2005, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted, under O.R.C. Section 3709.08, is a member of the General Health District of Cuyahoga County; and WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted must enter into a contract for the year 2005 for health services to be performed by the Cuyahoga County Health District; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COIINTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked as Exhibit "A," with the Cuyahoga County General Health District to provide health services to the City of North Olmsted from January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005. SECTION 2: That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Director of Finance for authority to pay semi-annual payments under the provisions of this Resolution and said contract. SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that the current contract expires on December 31, 2004, and the new contract must be in effect by that date to insure continuation of delivery of vital health services to the residents of North Olmsted, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. ?
