CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RE50LUTION NO. 2004 -141 <br />BY: Mayor Norman T. Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TD SUBMIT AN APPLICATION <br />FOR STATE OF OHIO ISSUE 2 FUNDING FOR CLAGUE ROAD <br />RECONSTRUCTIDN FROM I-480 TO LORAIN ROAD AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Clague Road is a county road located within the boundaries of the City of North <br />Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Courrty Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, and the City of North <br />Olmsted are desirous of making application to the State of Ohio for Issue 2 funding in connection with <br />the reconstruction of Clague Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has agreed with the County to make application to the <br />State of Ohio for Issue 2 funding, on behalf of Cuyahoga County and the City of North Olmsted, in <br />connection with the Clague Road Reconstruction Project; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to submit an application to the <br />Ohio Public Works Commission for Issue 2 funding for Clague Road reconstruction in connection with <br />the Project; and to execute all documents and do all things necessary in furtherance thereof. <br />SECTION 2: That, if such application is approved, it is the intent of this Council to pay for this <br />City's portion of the costs in connection with such project therewith. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that the <br />preparation and submission of the application for funding is immediately necessary in order to meet the <br />dea.dline for Issue 2 applica.tions; a.nd further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it sha11 take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. ; <br />PASSED: ?:`..:',e <br />i <br />L' <br />/ <br />ARBARA L.
