13.2 All Staff Personnel of the Fire Department shall receive a vacatian at the Basic Hourly Rate of Pay <br />plus Longevity, provided that they have been employed for at least one year. However, if <br />extenoating circumstances arise the Employee involved may request the Fire Chief or his designee <br />to approve such vacation out of sequence. In situations whereby the Fire Chief or his designee <br />approves or denies vacation out of sequence, such action shail not be subject to the Grievance <br />Procedure. <br />23
