CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED J? <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004 -126 <br />BY: <br />Mayor Musial <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 109.02 OF <br />CHAPTER 109 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, <br />ENTITLED "PUBLIC MEETINGS, " IN ORDER TO <br />TRANSFER ALL CLERICAL D UTIES SET FORTH IN <br />CHAPTER 109 RELATING TO THE HOIISING COUNCIL <br />AND THE TAX INCENTIVE REVIEW COUNCIL FROM THE <br />MAYOR'S SECRETARY TO THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT <br />SECRETARY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Mayor that the duties of public meetings <br />notification and other duties of clerical support for the Housing Council and the Tax Incentive <br />Review Council currently performed by the Mayor's Secretary be transferred to the Secretary I <br />position in the Finance Department; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to accordingly amend Section 109.02 of <br />Chapter 109 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Public Meetings," in order to effect said <br />transfer of clerical duties; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 109.02 ("Definitions") of Chapter 109 of the Administrative <br />Code, which presently reads as follows: <br />"109.02 DEFIlVITIONS. <br />As used in this chapter: <br />(a) "Clerk" means the following municipal employees for the meetings of the <br />following municipal bodies: <br />(1) Clerk of Commissions for all municipal bodies except as otherwise provided <br />in this paragraph (a) of Section 109.02; <br />(2) Clerk of Council for the City Council, all Council Committees, the Ethics <br />Commission, all Assessment Equalization Boards, and the Charter Review <br />Commission; <br />(3) Human Resource Department Secretary for the Human Relations Advisory <br />Board; <br />(4) Mayor's Secretary for the Board of Control, the Housing Council, the Tax <br />Incentive Review Council, and the Fair Housing Review Board; and <br />(5) Recreation Commission Secretary for the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />(b) "Day" means a calendar day. <br />(c) "Meeting" means any prearranged discussion of the public business of <br />a Municipal body by a majority of the members of the Municipal body. <br />(d) "Municipal body" means each of the following: <br />? .x_ <br />?-
