CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2004 -109 BY: Mayor Musial A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF ONE THOIISAND FORTY-NINE DOLLARS ($1, 049. 00)) TO JOE D's PRINTING FOR PROGRAMS FOR THE MA Y 21, 2004 ICE SHOW. WHEREAS, the Recreation Department held its annual Ice Show on May 21, 2004 and had printed program guides printed by Joe D's Printing; WHEREAS, at the time, sufficient funds had been appropriated by this Council and were on hand to pay Joe D's Printing the invoice amount of One Thousand Forty-nine Dollars ($1,049.00); and WHEREAS, through inadvertence, a purchase order certifying that funds had been appropriated and were on hand to pay the invoice, and authorizing payment of this invoice, was not requested from the Director of Finance until May 27, 2004; and WHEREAS, Joe D's Printing has performed all of the services required of it in a good and workmanlike manner; and WHEREAS, pursuant to RC. Section 5705.41(D), payment to Joe D's Printing pursuant to the purchase order requested may not be made by the Director of Finance until authorized by this Council; and N'HEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Finance to pay to Joe D's Printing, for printing 700 copies of the programs for the May 21, 2004 Ice Show the agreed contract price of One Thousand Forty-nine ($1,049.00) Dollars; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Director of Finance be, and she hereby is, authorized to pay to Joe D's Printing the sum of One Thousand Forty-nine ($1,049.00) Dollars for the printing of 700 copies of the programs for the Ice Show held on May 21, 2004.
