<br /> <br />-2- <br />Meet with the Building Official or City representative and shall, with him or alone as instructed, <br />visit construction sites under jurisdictional authority of the City and make whatever inspection <br />reports, written or oral, that may be deemed necessary at the time. <br />The Architect shall be reimbursed for travel, printing, mileage, long distance telephone calls, <br />reproduction, postage, and other typical reimbursable costs incurred during the performance of the <br />services. <br />GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />The Architect shall furnish such facilities and equipment he deems necessary to perform the services <br />under this agreement. The City shall provide the Architect one (1) copy of all plans and data <br />submitted for permit, review, or approval and shall further provide reference books, reports, and <br />informational material as requested by the Architect that may be required by the Architect. The City <br />shall maintain proper storage of all records and plans, and shall also maintain all records and plans <br />required by the State or OBC, including those required by the State to maintain Building Department <br />certification. <br />The Architeet shall be responsible to provide services for only the applications directed to him by the <br />City or City's representative, and have shall have no responsibility or liability for application's or <br />information not directed to him. <br />In consideration of the Architect's assistance to the City in the perFormance of a governmental <br />function for which the City is entitled to sovereign immunity, the City shall defend the Architect from <br />any and all claims arising from any of the services provided under this Agreement. <br />The City agrees that the Architect shall have the right to engage in the practice of architecture for <br />private individuals within the City during the term of this agreement, provided that he shall not have <br />interest in, review, or approve any plans or work in which he has either drawn or participated in the <br />drawing of, which said plans he has to approve or recommend approval to the City or its Boards or <br />Commissions. <br />FEES AND SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS <br />For services rendered under this agreement, the Architect shall be entitled to the following: <br />Basic Services <br />Schedule of Fees <br />Plan Review Base Processing Fee Plan Review Fee <br />Per 100 s.f. of gross building area. <br />General and mechanical $80.00 $2.75 <br />Electrical/Fire Alarm/Detector Systems $80.00 $1.50 <br />
