CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RE50LUTION NO. 2004 - 26 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR INSTALLATION OF A WATER LINE <br />FOR THE BARTON/BRADLEY SOCCER FIELDS IRRIGATION SYSTEM, <br />AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, AFTER BOARD OF <br />CONTROL APPROVAL, TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE LOWEST <br />AND BEST BIDDER <br />WHEREAS, the Division of Parks and Recreation desires that a water line be installed at <br />the BartonBradley soccer fields for irrigation purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Public Safety to <br />advertise for bids for the installation of a water line at the Barton/Bradley soccer fields for <br />irrigation purposes and to authorize the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br />execute a contract with the lowest and best bidder; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for the installation of a water line at the Barton/Bradley soccer fields for <br />irrigation purposes, a11 in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement and <br />execute a contract on behalf of the City of North Olmsted with the lowest and best bidder. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest peri, allowed by law. <br />PASSED: LFirst Reading: <br />Second Reading: ? 3 <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: -d' ..e=cr--L?.,. <br />> <br />c <br />BAAARA L.
