- CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NQ. 2004 - 3 BY: Mayor Musial AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO A NEW PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH JERRY LUDYIK, THE GOLF PRO AT THE SPRINGYALE GOLF COURSE, FOR THE PERIOD APRIL 1, 2003 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2004, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, on or about November 26, 1999, the City of North Olmsted entered into an Agreement with Jerry Ludvik to be the Golf Pro at the City's Springvale Golf Course; and, WHEREAS, the initial term of said Agreement was from April 1, 1999 to December 1, 1999; and WHEREAS, said Agreement was renewed for the April 1 through December 31, period for the years 2000, 2001 and 2002 pursuant to Ordinance Nos. 2000-162, 2001-45 and 2002-68, respectively; and WHEREAS, said Agreement would be retroactive for 2003 at the fixed price of Three Thousand Five Hundred ($3,500.00) Dollars and effective far 2004 at the fixed rate of Three Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-Five ($3,675.00) Dollars; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize a new Professional Services contract for Jerry Ludvik for the period April 1, 2003 through December 31, 2004. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into a new Professional Services Agreement with Jerry Ludvik, to be golf pro at the Springvale Golf Course for the period April 1, 2003 through December 31, 2004, in substantially the form and substance as evidenced in Exhibit A attached to this Ordinance. SECTION 2: That this Council finds that sufficient funds have been appropriated and set aside this year to pay a11 monies due to Jerry Ludvik under this Professional Services Agreement.
