ARTICLE 31 <br />SEFARATION BENEFIT <br />30.1 Upon retirement, separation or disability separation, not including termination for <br />cause from the City, a bargaining unit member will be permitted to purchase for the sum of one <br />dollar ($1.00) their service weapon. <br />30.2 Any bargaining unit member serving in the K-9 unit who retires or ha.s a separation <br />of employment or suffers a disability separation (applicable also to canine), not to include <br />termination for cause, will be permitted to purchase for the sum of one dollar ($1.00) their canine <br />partner. <br />ARTICLE 32 <br />DURA.TION <br />32.1 This Agreement represents an understanding between the City and the F.O.P./Ohio <br />Labor Council, and it sha.ll be effective as of January 1, 2004 and rema.in in full force and <br />efFective until December 31, 2006, and from year to year thereafter, unless at least ninety (90) <br />days prior to tha.t expiration date, or any anniversary date thereof, either party provides written <br />notice to the other of any intent to modify or terminate this <br />Agreement. <br />IN TNESS VVIIEREOF, the parties have hereunto set their hands this '7 day <br />of ^ 92004. <br />47
