amount of employee co-payment required per Article 12. The Employer shall, during the period <br />for which the employee is utilizing vacation, holidays or personal time, continue to pay the <br />employee's insurance premiums during the leave of absence. <br />Upon exhausting vacation, Holidays and Personal time, said employee will be required to <br />pay the Director of Finance ( 100%) of all expected cost or premium cost for the purpose of <br />continuing hospitalization benefits during the balance of the leave of absence. <br />ARTICLE 18 <br />LEGALITY <br />18.1 It is the intent of the City and the F.O.P. that this Agreement comply in every <br />respect with applicable legal statutes and charter requirements. If it is determined that any <br />provisions of this Agreement are in conflict with any court of competent jurisdiction, that <br />provision shall be null and void and shall not affect the validity of the rema.ining paragraphs of <br />this Agreement. <br />18.2 Any past understanding, ordinance or resolution which has been in effect shall <br />remain in effect until such time that it is modified by a subsequent agreement. Such modification <br />shall be completed by the procedures set up in this Agreement for negotiations. <br />18.3 It is the intent of the parties that this Agreement be interpreted as practicable as <br />possible in accordance with Chapter 4117 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />30
