SECTION 20: That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive their regular rate of pay: New Year's Day; Presidents' Day; one-half (1/2) day on Good Friday; Memoriai Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; one-half (1/2) day on Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; one-half (1/2) day on New Year's Eve Day; employee's birthday; and two floating holidays. These holidays are not eligible for buy back and if not taken after 12 months they can no longer be used. SECTION 21: That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the Vacation Ordinance. AII previous service as an elected city pubiic official within the city shall be considered fuil-time for the purpose of calculating vacation and sick leave upon retirement. SECTION 22: That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive three (3) eight (8) hour days off with pay, or may elect to be paid for three (3) eight (8) hour days, for each six (6) continuous month period of unused sick leave. No month shall be counted in more than one period. SECTION 23: That the following full-time employees shail receive a$200 annual boot allowance payable the first pay in July each year: Public Works Foremen; Fleet Manager; Animal Warden; Waste Water Treatment Plant Superintendent; Waste Water Treatment Plant Assistant Superintendent; Environmental Engineer; Plant Operations Foremen; Plant Maintenance Foremen; Pre-Treatment Coordinator; Sanitary Sewer System Supervisor; Chemist; Assistant Chemist; Recreation Maintenance Foremen; and Golf Course Maintenance Supervisor." SECTION 3: That all Ordinances or Resolutions or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and wetfare of this City and for the further reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order that the Boards and Commissions of the City may continue to receive staff support that they require in order to perform their duties, and further provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members of this Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its approval by the Mayor." ` 1 ll/ ?V Q ?
