<br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />URDINANCE NO. 2004 - 52 <br />BY: Councilman Gareau <br />AN ORDIIVANCE AMENDING SECTION 111.01 OF THE <br />ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />ENTITLED "CITY CONTRACTS," IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR A <br />PROGRAM WHEREBY INTERESTED COMMUNITY OR CHARITY <br />GROUPS CAN STAFF COIVCESSION TRAILERS AT THE CITY <br />PARKS AND DECLAItING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, this Council previously enacted Ordinance No. 2000-24, which <br />created Chapter 111 of the Administrative Code, entitled "City Contracts," with an <br />effective date of May 16, 2000; and <br />N'HEREAS, in Ordinance No. 2000-24, Council provided for certain types of <br />City contracts, including franchise contracts, sales and leases of real property owned by <br />the City, sales of personal property pursuant to Codified Ordinance Section 525.15 or <br />Chapter 955, and contracts for the abatement of real property taxes, to be exempt from <br />the regulations of Chapter 111, which require, among other things, the advertising in <br />newspapers of general circulation for proposals and subsequent review and <br />recommendation by the Board of Control; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend Section 111.01 of the <br />Administrative Code of the City of North Olmsted in order to expand the exemption to <br />provide for the creation of a program whereby interested community or charitable groups <br />can be permitted to staff concession trailers at the city parks, which may be combined <br />with the City praviding products to sell, and whereby the community group will pay or <br />split proceeds with the City; <br />NOW THEREFOIZE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIfE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAIIOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHID: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 111.01 of Chapter 111 of the Administrative Code, <br />which presently reads as follows: <br />111.01 CITY CONTRACTS INVOLVING RECEIl'T OF FLJNDS. <br />(a) Every City contract, whereby as a result the City is to receive instead of <br />expend funds, shall be subject to the requirement that: <br />(1) There be on file with the City, specifications with <br />respect to proposals to be received from interested parties which <br />shall include, but not be limited to, the following items of <br />information: <br />I ^? ?
