CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2004 - 56 BY: Mayor Musial AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH HARRINGTON ELECTRIC CO. FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF SEYEN INTERIOR ELECTRICAL PANELS AT THE RECREATION CENTER, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Recreation Commissioner and the Recreation Maintenance Supervisor have determined that seven interior electrical panels at the Recreation Center must be replaced for safety and electrical load purposes; and WHEREAS, Harrington Electric Co. has proposed to replace the said seven panels for the sum of $12,960; and WHEREAS, this contract is not required by the Gharter to be competitively bid or approved by the Board of Control, and is not subject to the City's RFP ordinance; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with Harrington Electric Co. providing for the purchase and installation of seven interior electrical panels at the Recreation Center on the terms and conditions proposed by Hanington; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORAAINED BY THE GOUNC.IL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Harrington Electric Company for the purchase and installation of seven interior eleetrical panels at the Recreation Center on the terms and conditions of the December 10, 2003 proposal of Harrington Electric Co. (3-pages) attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit A, with only such changes to be hereinafter made as are not substantially adverse to the City and which are approved by the Director of Law. The character of any such changes as not being substantially adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the Lease Agreement by the Mayor and its approval by the Director of Law. ?
