CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004 - 56 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A <br />CONTRACT WITH HARRINGTON ELECTRIC CO. FOR THE <br />PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF SEYEN INTERIOR <br />ELECTRICAL PANELS AT THE RECREATION CENTER, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Commissioner and the Recreation Maintenance <br />Supervisor have determined that seven interior electrical panels at the Recreation Center <br />must be replaced for safety and electrical load purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, Harrington Electric Co. has proposed to replace the said seven <br />panels for the sum of $12,960; and <br />WHEREAS, this contract is not required by the Gharter to be competitively bid or <br />approved by the Board of Control, and is not subject to the City's RFP ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with Harrington Electric Co. providing for the purchase and installation of seven <br />interior electrical panels at the Recreation Center on the terms and conditions proposed <br />by Hanington; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORAAINED BY THE GOUNC.IL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />with Harrington Electric Company for the purchase and installation of seven interior <br />eleetrical panels at the Recreation Center on the terms and conditions of the December <br />10, 2003 proposal of Harrington Electric Co. (3-pages) attached to this Ordinance as <br />Exhibit A, with only such changes to be hereinafter made as are not substantially adverse <br />to the City and which are approved by the Director of Law. The character of any such <br />changes as not being substantially adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by <br />the execution of the Lease Agreement by the Mayor and its approval by the Director of <br />Law. <br />?
