'q=ys441?z.m .... .s.- CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 200468 BY: Mayor Musial A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A TWO-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH YERIZON WIRELESS PROVIDING FOR CELL PHONE SERVICE FOR THIRTY (30) NEW CELL PHONES FOR CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED EMPLOYEES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has solicited quotes for cell phone service for City of North Olmsted employees, and, after reviewing said quotes, has recommended that the City enter into a contract with Verizon Wireless as the lowest and best provider; and WHEREAS, because of the nature of the service being provided and the dollar amount of the contract, it is not legally necessary that this contract be either competitively bid in accordance with the provisions of the City Charter or subject to the City's formal RFP process; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into a one-year agreement with Verizon Wireless for cell phone service for thirty (30) new cell phones for City employees, in the total amount of Eight Thousand Six Hundred and Forty ($8,640.00) Dollars per year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized enter into a two-year agreement with Verizon Wireless for cell phone service for thirty (30) new cell phones for City employees, in the total amount of Eight Thousand Six Hundred and Forty ($8,640.00) Dollars per year, in the form of the Agreement attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A, with only such changes to be hereinafter made as are not substantially adverse to the City and which are approved by the Director of Law. The character of any such changes as not being substantially adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the Agreement by the Mayor and the approval of the Agreement by the Director of Law.
