'q=ys441?z.m .... <br />.s.- <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 200468 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO A TWO-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH YERIZON <br />WIRELESS PROVIDING FOR CELL PHONE SERVICE FOR <br />THIRTY (30) NEW CELL PHONES FOR CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED EMPLOYEES, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has solicited quotes for cell phone <br />service for City of North Olmsted employees, and, after reviewing said quotes, has <br />recommended that the City enter into a contract with Verizon Wireless as the lowest and <br />best provider; and <br />WHEREAS, because of the nature of the service being provided and the dollar <br />amount of the contract, it is not legally necessary that this contract be either competitively <br />bid in accordance with the provisions of the City Charter or subject to the City's formal <br />RFP process; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into a <br />one-year agreement with Verizon Wireless for cell phone service for thirty (30) new cell <br />phones for City employees, in the total amount of Eight Thousand Six Hundred and Forty <br />($8,640.00) Dollars per year; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized enter into a two-year <br />agreement with Verizon Wireless for cell phone service for thirty (30) new cell phones for <br />City employees, in the total amount of Eight Thousand Six Hundred and Forty <br />($8,640.00) Dollars per year, in the form of the Agreement attached to this Resolution as <br />Exhibit A, with only such changes to be hereinafter made as are not substantially adverse <br />to the City and which are approved by the Director of Law. The character of any such <br />changes as not being substantially adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by <br />the execution of the Agreement by the Mayor and the approval of the Agreement by the <br />Director of Law. <br />
