<br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2004-79 <br />SECTION 4: That Section 109.06 ("Notification of Discussion of Specific Types of <br />Public Business") of Chapter 109 of the Administrative Code, which presently reads as follows: <br />"109.06 NOTIFICATION OF DISCUSSION OF SPECIFIC TYPES OF PUBLIC <br />BUSINESS. <br />(a) Any person, upon written request and as provided herein, may obtain reasonable <br />advance notification of all meetings at which any specific type of public business is scheduled to <br />be discussed. <br />Such person may file a written request with the Clerk specifying: the person's name and <br />the address(es), telephone number(s) at or through which the person can be reached during and <br />outside of busmess hours, and e-mail address; the specific type of public business the discussion <br />of which the person is requesting advance notification of; the Mumcipal body that is the subject <br />of such request; and the number of calendar months which the request covers. Such request may <br />be cancelled by request from such person to the Clerk. <br />Where a written request involves multiple addressees or multiple meetings which would <br />require that the City expend more than ten dollars ($10.00) in postage and envelope costs, the <br />Clerk may require that such written request shall be accompanied by stamped self-addressed <br />envelopes sufficient in number to cover the number of regular meetings during the time period <br />covered by the request and an estimated number of special meetings to a11 addressees listed. The <br />Clerk shall notify in writing, or by telephone or e-mail, the requesting person when the supply of <br />envelopes is running out, and if the person desires notification after such supply has run out, such <br />person must deliver to the Clerk an additional reasonable number of stamped self-addressed <br />envelopes as a condition to receiving further notifications. <br />The Clerk shall provide a standard form to be used for such requests. Such form shall <br />set forth the following general subject matter categories to be checked off by the requesting <br />person: <br />Council <br />A. Regular Meetings <br />B. 5pecial Meetings <br />C. Emergency Meetings <br />D. Caucus Meetings <br />E. Committee Meetings <br />1. Committee of the Whole <br />2. Building, Zoning and Development <br />3. Environmental Control <br />4. Finance <br />5. Intra-Government Relations and Legislation; Long-Range Planning <br />6. Public Safety, Health and Welfare <br />7. Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings <br />8. Streets and Drainage <br />9. Transportation <br />Boards and Commissions <br />A. Board of Zoning Appeals <br />Regular Meetings <br />Special Meetings <br />B. Board of Building Code Appeals <br />Regular Meetings <br />Special Meetings <br />C. Planning Commission <br />Regular Meetings <br />
