<br />? <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2002-181 <br />(2) For failure to remit taaces withheld from the employees: ten percent <br />(10°fo) per month or fraction thereof, but accumulated penalty sha11 not exceed fifty percent (50%) <br />on any unpaid amount and shall not be less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for any first such <br />failure, fifty dollars ($50.00) for any second failure, and one hundred dollars ($100.00) for any <br />third or additional failure. <br />(b) There is hereby imposed a late filing fee penalty in the amount of $25.00 for each <br />annual income tax return not filed when due." <br />SECTION 2: That any Ordinance or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with or in conflict <br />with this Ordinance, to the extent of any such inconsistency or conflict with this Ordinance, be <br />and hereby are repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this legislation become effective immediately in order to <br />timely enf'orce the City's Income Tax Code and to make al1 necessary collections to protect the <br />public fisc, and further provided that it receives an affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 members <br />of Council, it sha11 take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />? i <br />PASSED: •?- <br />First Reading: if 1`I o? _ <br />Second Reading: ? a? <br />Third Reading: I a- ? 7 a?. <br />Committee: <br />A??ST.• <br />? <br />BARBARA L.
