CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO 2002 -176 BY: Mayor Musial AN ORDINANCE CREATING NEW SECTION 945. 07 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES, ENTITLED "EXEMPT'ION FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL ACTIYITES, " IN ORDER TO PERMIT NORTH OLMSTED PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO RENT THE COMMUNITY CABINAND SENIOR CENTER WITHOUT CHARGE. N'HEREA.S, the North Olmsted public schools permit the City to use their facilities for City functions without charge; and N'HEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Human Resources that this Council adopt legislation permitting the North Olmsted public schools to use the Community Cabin and the Senior Center for school functions without charge; N'HEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, based upon the recommendation of the Director of Human Resources, to adopt legislation to permit North Olmsted public schools to use the Community Cabin and Senior Center for school functions without charge; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That there is be and hereby is created new Section 945.07 af the Codified Ordinances, entitled "Exemption for Public School Activities," which as created shall read as follows: "945.07 EYEMPTION FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL ACTIVITIES. The provisions of 945.05 of this Chapter notwithstanding, North Olmsted public schools sha11 be permitted to rent the Community Cabin and the Senior Center without charge for the conduct of a.ny North Olmsted school activity." SECTION 2: That any Ordinance or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with or in conflict with this Ordinance, to the exrtent of any such inconsistency or conflict with this Ordinance, be and hereby are repealed. SECTION 3: That, upon passage by Council and approval by the Mayor, this Ordinance sha11 take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. ?1
