<br />Ordinance No. 2002-164 <br />(B) The Mayor shall appoint and remove the Secretary. The position sha11 be part-time. <br />The salary of the Secretary shall be set by the Mayor within a salary range established by Council. <br />The Secretauy shall be a salaried employee and therefore sha11 not be subject to the prohibitions <br />against multiple part-tirne city employment contained in Section 161.08 of the Administrative <br />Code or elsewhere within the Codified Ordinances of this city." <br />Be amended, and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as follows: <br />"171.07 SECRETARY TO HOUSING COUNCIL/TAX INCENTIVE REVIEW <br />COUNCIL. <br />(A) There is hereby created the position of Secretary to the Housing Council and Tax <br />Incentive Review Council. <br />(B) The Mayor shall appoint and remove the Secretary. The position shall be part-time <br />and sha11 be paid on an hourly basis. The hourly rate of the Secretary shall be set by the Mayor <br />within a range established by Council. The Secretary shall not be subject to the prohibitions <br />against multiple part-time city employment contained in Section 161.08 of the Administrative <br />Code or elsewhere within the Codified Ordinances of this city; provided, however, that if the <br />Secretary holds any other part-time or full time city employment, he or she shall keep and <br />maintain detailed timesheets of hours worked as the Secretary in order to ensure proper <br />segregation of pay and to avoid the possibility of being paid twice for the services provided to the <br />City. The detailed timesheets kept by the Secretary shall minimally include the following <br />information: (1) project worked on; (2) amount of time spent on project; and (3) brief description <br />of work on the project." <br />SECTION 2: That any Ordinance or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with or in conflict <br />with this Ordinance, to the extent of any such inconsistency or conflict with this Ordinance, be <br />and hereby are repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this legislation become effective imrnediately in order to <br />establish better procedures to protect the public fisc, and further provided that it receives an <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />First Reading: L! <br />Second Reading.• 11 C a <br />Third Readin g: Uakic..k_. 3? c 3 <br />Committee: <br />2 <br />
