CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2002 - 141 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />AN ORDIN.ANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SELL <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE "JAMES L UMBER" <br />PROPERTY 1VOW OWNED BY THE CITY, TO-WIT :• A FLAG <br />POLE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Administration has reviewed the price of new flag poles, and has <br />deternuned after reviewing said prices, that one-hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) is a fair <br />price for the flag pole which was formerly located on the James Lumber property; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to dispose of said <br />property by selling the same for the said sum; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to sell the flag pole which <br />was formerly located upon the "James Lumber" property now owned by the City, for the sum <br />of One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($125.00). <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public pea.ce, health, safety and welfare, of <br />this City, and for the further reason that this Ordinance is required to be effective immediately <br />so as not to have an adverse effect upon the demolition plans for the new Library project; and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 members of Council, it sha11 <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />C?'`°??
