<br />The mayor or his designee sha11 within fourteen (14) days following receipt of an appeal, <br />review the appeal and approve ar deny the appeal or request additional documentation when <br />necessary within this set period of time. When additional documentation is requested, the appealing <br />party must provide the requested documentation within fourteen (14) calendar days following receipt <br />of the request by the City. Upon receipt of the requested documentation, the mayor or his designee <br />shali either grant the appeal, deny the appeal or modify the charges and proceed to collect the charges <br />in accordance with Section l, of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 10: That Ordinance Nos. 94148 and 2000-37 are hereby repealed. However, <br />the repeal of these two ordinances shall not affect, nor be construed in any manner to affect, any <br />pending claims which the City may have against non-residents for services rendered prior to the <br />effective date of this Ordinance. Further, any other ordinances, or parts of ordinances, which are in <br />conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance, are, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, <br />likewise repealed. <br />SECTION 11: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfaze, and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary for this Ordinance to go into effect immediately to protect the public finances, <br />and further provided that it receives the affimiative vote of two-thirds of a11 members of Council, it sha11 <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />page 5 <br />
