Ordinance No. 2002-16 <br />Page 2 <br />agreement for the City's Service Unit, by providing for the creation of a new bargaining unit <br />position entitled "Head Mechanic," and establishing a job description and pay rate for the said <br />new bargaining unit position The said Letter of Agreement shall be in substantially the form of <br />the Letter of Agreement with Job Description Appendix, atta.ched to this Ordinance and marked <br />as Exhibit "A." <br />SECTION 2: That the non-bargaining unit position of "Fleet Manager," which has been <br />vacant since the recent retirement of Tom Demaline, be, and hereby is, eliminated. <br />SECTION 3: That a11 Ordinances, or parts of Ordinances, inconsistent or in conflict with <br />this Ordinance, be, to the extent of any such inconsistency or conflict, repealed. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary for safety reasons tha.t this Ordinance go into effect <br />immediately so tha.t the mechanic services provided to City vehicles is not interrupted, and, <br />provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />,----?. <br />PASSED: ??z ? z. <br />ATTEST.- <br />First Reading: <br />Secortd Reading: y ca 3- ?;? <br />Third Reading: ?/o, /6 .,3, <br />Committee: <br />BARBARA L.
