<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-21 <br />By: The Mayor and Entire City Council <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BID5 FOR PAVEMENT MARKINGS OF STREETS AT VARIOUS <br />LOCATIONS IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLM5TED AS DETAII.ED IN THE <br />SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of pavement markings <br />of streets at various locations in the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement to make said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCII, OF TI-E CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for <br />bids for pavement markings of streets at various locations in the city of North Olmsted as detailed <br />in the specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute sa.me on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it sha11 take effect and be in <br />force imm"tely upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />r <br />EST: 4ae Bar bara L.
