CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTTON NO. 2002 - 22 <br />By: The Mayor and Entire City Council <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CATCH BASIN, MANHOLE, <br />SIDEWALK, CURBING AND PAVEMENT REPAIRS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AS DETAII.ED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON <br />FILE AND AUTHORYZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of constructing catch <br />basins, manholes, sidewalk, curbing and pavement repairs at various location in the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY T'HE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for construction of catch basin, manhole, sidewalk, curbing and pavement <br />repairs at various locations in the City of North Olmsted according to specifications now on file in <br />his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to <br />enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />5ECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and b,eijn force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: D- <br />ATT?$T: <br />r, <br />i 1 ? <br />? <br />B bara L.
