<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002 - 23 <br />By: The Mayor and Entire City Council <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF STREET LIGHTING AT <br />VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AS DETAILED IN THE <br />SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of installing street <br />lights at various locations in the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TBE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />5ECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for construction of street lighting at various locations in the City of North <br />Olmsted according to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board <br />of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />? <br />i <br />PASSED: 1 00_), <br />A <br />Barbara L.
