CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002 - 3 <br />BY: Mavor Norman T. Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ADVERTISE FOR <br />BIDS FOR STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS ON COLUMBIA <br />ROAD AS DETAILED IN THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON <br />FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary plans and specifications, as prepared under the direction af the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for <br />storm sewer improvements on Columbia Road according to plans and specifications now on file in <br />his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to <br />enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 members af Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediatety upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />"?, <br />PASSED? _LL-?LLL.?'L ? f ,'? <br />AT7ST: <br />arbara L.
