ATTACHMENT 9.1 <br />METHOD OF PAYMENT <br />9.1 For basic services ofthe Geotechnical Engineer as described in this RFP, City intends <br />to include in an Agreement for payment ofthe Geotechnical Engineer for the Work contained in the <br />Geotechnical Engineer proposal in the following method. <br />9.1.1 The City shall make a total payment to the Geotechnical Engineer in a total amount <br />nat to exceed $ Dollars. <br />9.1.2 The Geotechnical Engineer shall submit one invoice to the City for the Work <br />performed by the Geotechnical Engineer. <br />9.1.3 The City shall review the invoice submitted by the GeotechnicaI Engineer within ten <br />(10) calendar days of the City's receipt of the invoice submitted by the Geoteehnicai <br />Engineer. <br />9.1.4 The City shall notify the Geotechnical Engineer within fifteen (15) calendar days of <br />the City's receipt of the invoice of any amount(s) contained in the invoice that will not be <br />paid by the City due to: (1) inadequate documentation for the amount(s) requested; (2) the <br />amount(s) requested being outside the scope of services of'the Geotechnical Engineer; and <br />(3) the amount(s) requested exceed the maximum cost of the Geotechnical Engineer's Work <br />approved by the City. <br />- 9.1.5 The maximum cost of the Geotechnical Engineer's services is $ - <br />Dollars, which shall not be exceeded without an Amendment or without Change Orders to <br />an Agreement duly executed by the City and the Geotechnical Engineer.
