INS,URANCE 10.1 The CONTRACTOR shall comply with al1 workers' compensation laws of the 5tate of Ohio and shall carry at lea.st the following minimum privaxe insurance coverage: a. General Liability and Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance in an amount not less than One Million Dallars ($1,000,000.00 agg'egate) for injuries, including those resulting in death, to any personal, and property damage. Said insurance shall be maintained in fu11 force and effect during the life of this Agreement and sha11 protect the CONTRACTOR, its employees, agents, and representatives from claims for damages for personal injury and wrongful death and for damages to praperty arising in any manner from the negligent or wrongful acts, enors or omissions of the CONTRACTOR, its employees, agents or representatives in the performance of the services under this Agreement. b. Valuable Papers insurance in an amount sufficient to assure the restoration of any drawings, project manual pages, field notes, or similar data relating to the work under this Ageement, in the event of their loss or destructian, during the life of this Agreement. c. Professional Liability Insurance in an amount $1,000,000 aggregate sha11 be carried by the CONTRACTOR to provide coverage for any enors, omissions or negligence by CONTRACTOR, and its employees, agents, and representatives. Subcontractors of the CONTR.ACTOR who are manifestly not providing professional services need not cany Professional Liability Insurance. 10.2 Certificates showing the CONTRACTOR is carrying a11 of the above described insurances in at least the above specified minimum amounts shall be furnished to the CITY before the CITY is obligated to make any payment to the CONTRACTOR for 6
