CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-29 <br />BY: THE MAYOR AND THE ENTIRE CITY COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE ACHIEVEMENT BY <br />ROBERT FREDERICK HUNDT <br />OF THE EAGLE SCOUT AWARD IN BOY SCOUTING <br />WHEREAS, this Council and Administration recognize and reaffirm their dedication to organized Scouting; anc: <br />WHEREAS, this Council and the Administration further recognize that those participating in Scouting, Y,oth +he <br />youth and their leaders, are an invaluable asset to the community and the Nation, and that the ideals of Scouting, the Scout <br />Oa*h and the Scout Law are commitments that all citizens should strive for; and <br />WHEREAS, when one of our young citizens has been committed to Scouting to such an extent that he earns the <br />rank of Eagle Scout, it is truly a noteworthy accomplishment; and <br />WHEREAS, ROBERT FREDERICK HiJNT has been an active participant of Troop 664, and he has attended <br />numerous outdoor camps and has served in the leadership positions of Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, <br />Troop Guide, Den Chief, Librarian, Instructor, and Order of the Arrow Troop Representative; and <br />WHEREAS, ROBERT, in achieving his Eagle Scout Award, earned twenty-one Merit Badges, and he earned the <br />Order of the Arrow Award; <br />WHEREAS, for his Eagle Scout Project, ROBERT worked at Horizons Activity Center where he revamped <br />landscaping and did interior painting of the facility; and <br />WHEREAS, ROBERT, a graduate of North Olmsted High School and currently a Freshman at Cleveland St-te <br />University, has participated in numerous activities and clubs including SADD, 12"' Man Club, Chess Club, Fellowship of <br />Cr-istian Athletes, German Exchange Program, Cross Country Team, North Olmsted High School and Cleveland State <br />Swim Teams, Track Team, North East Ohio Nemesis, Dover U.C.C., Year-Around USA Swim Team, Radio Conti jl <br />Planes, and Model Building. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council and City Administration extend best wishes and heartiest congratulations to <br />ROBERT FREDERICK HiJNT on his achievement of the rank of Eagle Scout. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be, and she is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to <br />ROBERT FREDERICK HUNT. <br />Passed: ?th??? o2OG'd <br />?f <br />Att <br />arbara L.
