? <br />? <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2008-4 <br />SECTION 1: That Director of Community Life Services be and hereby is authorized <br />to apply for a Nature Works Grant or Grants through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources <br />for any or all of the local parks and recreational improvements outlined above; further that the <br />use of twenty-five percent (25%) matching local funds as required by the Ohio Department of <br />Natural Resources is hereby authorized; and further that the Mayor be and hereby is authorized <br />to accept any such grant or grants awarded on behalf of the City, and to execute a contract or <br />contracts and any and all such other documents as required to effectuate receipt of the grant or <br />grants. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare, and for the <br />further reason it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately because the <br />application deadline for ODNR Nature Works grants is February 1, 2008, and further, provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members of Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />( /-) PASSED: -?u.c.?h. /?5? <br />,;/ <br />First Reading.• /I/" Dd) <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Readin <br />Committee: „ i" 0 <br />ATTEST: <br />? <br />r ? <br />BARBARA L.
