. 6.08 Any meinber of the bargaining unit who is ordered to duty but subsequently released priol- to reporting shall receive pay for one houl•. 6.09 The Employer realizes that employees are permitted to schedule time off for vacations and paid holidays. The Employer will do everything possible to see that the einployee will gei tinle off that is picked in accordance with department policy as established by the Chief of Police. The Employer will not eancel, except in an elnergency any time picked during the original vacation and paid holiday picks. The Employer also realizes that employees may take other vacation time and paid 1lolidays that are not addressed above. In addition, time off is permitted in the form of overtime off and unused sick leave time off. The Employer will do every1hing possible to see that the enlployee will get this time off except in an emergency or at the request of the employee. ARTICLE VII WAGES 7.01 Effective January 1, 2007, all employees shall be paid in accordance with the following schedule: Hourl Patrolman-First Year 20.84 Patrolman-Second Year 22.50 Patrolman-Third Year 24.16 Patrohnan-Fourth Year 25.81 Patrolman-Fifth 28.41 Sergeant 32.10 Lieutenant 3 5.47 Captain 39.21 7.02 Effective January 1, 2008, all employees shall be paid in accordance with the following schedule: Hourly Patrolman-First Year 21.68 Patrolman-Second Year 23.40 Patrolman-Third Year 25.13 Patrolman-Fourth Year 26.85 Patroliman-Fifth Year 29.55 Sergeant 33.39 Lieutenant 36.89 Captain 40.78 7.03 All Sergeants shall maintain a thirteen (13%) percent differential between their base rate of pay and the base rate of pay of the highest paid patrolman. 7.04 All employees holding the ranlc of Lieutenant shall maintain a ten and one-half (10.5%) percent differential between their base rate of pay and the base rate of pay of the highest paid Sergeant. 4
