Ordinance No. 2008-44 <br />D <br />E <br />F <br />G <br />on one and two-family dwelling unit property. All vehicles <br />which are junk vehicles as defined in Section 521.08, or <br />which do not have current license plates, shall be stored in <br />a completely enclosed, authorized or permitted building for <br />such lot or premises, or kept under covers that have been <br />specially designed for cars. Recreational vehicles, as <br />defined in Section 1135.02(h), shall not be parked or stored <br />on one or two-family dwelling unit property, except as <br />permitted in Section 1135.02(h). No vehicles shall be <br />parked on the lawn or grass. <br />Landscaping. Lawns, grass or grass-like ground <br />coverings, hedges and bushes shall be trimmed and kept <br />from becoming overgrown and unsightly where exposed to <br />the public view and where the same constitute a blighting <br />factor depreciating adjoining property and impairing the <br />good residential character of the immediate neighborhood. <br />Grass in lawns, other ground cover, or weeds permitted to <br />grow in excess of six inches in height, in violation of <br />Section 949.03, shall be presumed to be a nuisance. <br />Signs. All signs permitted by reason of other regulations or <br />as a lawful nonconforming use shall be maintained in good <br />repair and printed matter, pictures or illustrations contained <br />thereon shall be completely maintained or when no longer <br />in use, completely removed. <br />Trash containers and receptacles. Trash containers shall be <br />stored, on one and two family dwelling unit premises, <br />within garages or other buildings authorized for such <br />purpose, or so located, or hidden by landscaping, fencing or <br />an enclosure, as to not be visible from the public right of <br />way; provided, however, that trash containers may be <br />stored in side yard areas and visible from the right of way <br />so long as the containers have lids and are sufficiently <br />sealed so as to prevent animal or insect foraging and <br />infestation. <br />General maintenance. The exterior of every structure or <br />accessory structure, including fences, shall be maintained <br />in good repair as set forth herein. <br />1. No owner or operator of any premises shall <br />maintain or permit to be maintained at or on the <br />exterior property areas of such premises any <br />condition which deteriorates, blights or debases the <br />appearance of the neighborhood; or creates a fire, <br />safety or health hazard or which is a public <br />nuisance; or which adversely alters the appearance <br />and good residential character of the immediate <br />neighborhood; and shall keep such premises free of <br />any debris, objects, material or condition which <br />may create a health, accident or fire hazard or which <br />is a public nuisance. Driveways shall also be <br />maintained in accordance with the standards set <br />forth in Section 1363.07(a)(8). <br />2. All exterior parts of every dwelling and all <br />accessory buildings shall be maintained <br />weathertight and shall be maintained so as to resist <br />lo <br />....:?.n .?... ..?.?,..?.?:: ..n... .,,., ?
