CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2008-49 <br />BY: Mayor O'Grady <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND <br />LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR THE YEAR 2008 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, pursuant to the Mayor's recommendation, to establish compensation rate <br />ranges and benefits for the City's various administrative and legislative personnel for the year 2008; <br />WHEREAS, rate ranges herein established by Council are intended and shall serve as a guide to the Administration <br />in annually proposing to Council through the appropriation ordinance rates of compensation for various <br />administrative and legisiative employees, which compensation is determined by Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHfO: <br />Section 1: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for administrative and legislative <br />personnel of the City of North Olmsted. The salaries in this Section shall be determined by the applicable <br />Director and the Mayor as appropriate. <br />(BW = Biweekly; PH = Per Hour) <br />FROM TO Pay <br />2008 Type <br />A. Mayor (established by separate Ordinance 2004-188, through 2009) <br />B. Director of Public Service 2,538.46 3,307.69 B1l1/ <br />C. Director of Public Safety 2,538.46 3,307.69 BW <br />D. Director of Community Life 2,538.46 3,307.69 BW <br />Services <br />E. Director of Human Resources 2,538.46 3,307.69 BW <br />F. Director of Planning 2,538.46 3,307.69 BW <br />G. Administrative Assistant 1,557.69 2,121.08 BW <br />(Full-Time) <br />H. Administrative Assistant 19.47 26.51 PH <br />(Part-Time) <br />1. Secretary 1 1,266.40 1,673.08 BW <br />J. Work days, hours worked per day, part-time or full-time status of the Mayor's Administrative <br />Assistant shali be determined as deemed appropriate by the Mayor. <br />Section 2: That the following sa4ary ranges are hereby established for employees of the Department of Law. <br />The salaries in this Section shall be determined by the Director of Law as appropriate. <br />FROM TO pay <br />2008 Type <br />A.
