WHEREAS, following publication of newspaper notice in conformance with the provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted and Section 1127.03 of the North Olmsted Zoiz.? Code, a public hearing was held on this proposed legislation on the Zq day of 2008; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Chapter 1163 (Signs) of the City of North Olmsted Zoning Code, which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in the document attached to this Ordinanee as Exhibit A and incorporatcd herein by reference as if fully restated herein, be amended, and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in the document attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference as if fully restated herein. SECTION 2: That tlie Clerlc of Couilcil be and she is hereby directed to cause notice of a Public Hearing hereoil to be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted and Section 1127.03 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code. SECTION 3: That, in all otlicr respects, the North Olmstcd Zoning Code, as amended and supplemented fi-oin time to tinie, shall rcniain in full force and effect. SECTION 4: That the original Chaptcr 1163 of the Zoning Code amended herein is expressly repealed, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances or resolutions that are inconsistent or in conflict witll tlle iiewly amended section are likewise repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or coiiflict only. SECTION 5: That, if any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, term, provision or part of this Ordinance shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or inoperative, such judgment shall not affect, impair ar invalidate the remainder thereof, but sliall be coiifiiicd in its operation to the section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, terin, provision or part thereof directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered. SECTION 6: That this Ordinance shall tal:c efCect atzd be in foree from and after the earliest period allowed by law. 2
