<br />Resolution No. 2008-60 <br />SECTION l: That the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiated by and between <br />the Administration and IAFF Local 1267, on behalf of the City's Fire Fighters, a final draft <br />copy of which was sent to the IAFF on March 26, 2008 and which is attached to this <br />legislation as "Exhibit A," is hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute <br />the said Collective Bargaining Agreement on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That the effective date for the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, <br />and for the implementation of all of the provisions in the Agreement, unless otherwise <br />expressly specified therein, shall be January 1, 2007. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of <br />this City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective <br />in order to provide authority for the new wages and benefits of the City's firefighter employees <br />as well as to protect vital Fire Department management interests of the City that are the <br />subject of new provisions in the Agreement negotiated with IAFF Local 1267 and/or <br />established through fact finding that was a part of the collective bargaining process; and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ? f 7_.??.
