Grievance Procedure: <br />The procedure outlined in Article VIII of this <br />Agreement. <br />Immediate Familv: In the case of illness, Immediate Family shall be <br />parent; parents of spouse; spouse and children of the <br />Employee as well as other relatives living with the <br />Employee if the Employee is acting as parent or <br />guardian. <br />Lieutenant: An individual having the rank of Lieutenant in the <br />Fire Department. <br />Light Dutv: That work assigned to an employee during time <br />when an employee is acting under disability or poor <br />health. <br />Line Personnel: Individuals working a 24-hour shift in a 72-hour <br />period who are not Staff Personnel. <br />Langevity: Compensation based on continuous loyal service to <br />the Employer. Longevity shall be computed on the <br />base salary and be: 4% after 5 years of continuous <br />service, 5% after 10 years of continuous service, 6% <br />after 15 years of continuous service, 7% after 20 <br />years of continuous service. <br />Nortnal Wark Schedule: One (1) twenty-four (24) consecutive hour shift <br />followed by forty-eight (48) hours off duty, <br />However, for reasons of shift transfer, iraining, <br />Light Duty or emergency disaster, the Fire Chief <br />may change an Employee's work shifts to meet the <br />Employer's needs that are affected by a shift <br />transfer, training, Light Duty or emergency disaster. <br />Overtime: In the case of Line Personnel, any time worked in <br />excess of twenty-four (24) hours in a seventy-two <br />(72) hour period or as specified in Article XI. <br />Paramedic Certification: <br />Safetv Director: <br />Senioritv: <br />That certification as awarded by the State of Ohio in <br />accordance with the Ohio Revised Code. <br />The individual occupying the position of Safety <br />Director of the Employer from time to time. <br />A position determined by continuous service in the <br />North Olmsted Fire Department from the <br />?
