<br />enter any premises in the City to investigate a reported violation of the provisions of the
<br />Zoning Code and he shall have the authority to require the person in control of or in
<br />charge of such premises to furnish him a sworn statement as to the number of persons
<br />occupying such premises, the terms and conditions of such occupancy and such other
<br />information as the Building Official may deem pertinent to his investigation. A refusal
<br />on the part of the person in control of or in charge of such premises to permit the
<br />Building Official to enter such premises for the purpose above specified or to furnish
<br />such sworn statement shall constitute a violation of the Zoning Code.
<br />BE AMENDED, AND, AS AMENDED, READ HEREAFTER IN ITS ENTIRETY
<br />AS FOLLOWS:
<br />1117.05 POWER TO ENFORCE.
<br />In addition to any other power given to the Building Official by law or
<br />ordinance, the Building Official is empowered and authorized u?e times, te
<br />to investigate apA reported violation of the provisions of
<br />the Zoning Code. The Building Official shall not enter onto any premises for the
<br />exnress consent of the owner or other adult nerson in control of or in char2e of such
<br />to conduct a
<br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to cause
<br />notice of a Public Hearing hereon to be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of
<br />Article IV of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted and Section 1127.03 of the North
<br />Olmsted Zoning Code.
<br />SECTION 3: That, in all other respects, the North Olmsted 7,oning Code, as
<br />amended and supplemented from time to time, shall remain in full force and effect.
<br />SECTION 4: That Section 1117.05 of the Zoning Code amended herein is
<br />expressly repealed, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances or resolutions that are
<br />inconsistent or in conflict with the newly amended section are likewise repealed to the
<br />extent of such inconsistency or conflict only.
<br />SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
<br />the earliest period allowed by law.
