Our goal
will be to use economic developmerrt practices that support and enhance stable, sustainable, and diverse growth
in employment, earnings, and taxes in the North Olmsted and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
Achieving this goal will include the following elements, to be performed by Silverlode:
Scope of Services
1. Crocker-Stearns Corridor Development
We will continue to advance the potential long-term development of the Corridor by identifying and
pursuing mixed-use development that fits with the city's long-term plans/vision for that area and
maximizes the overall economic and fiscal benefits of the Corridor for the city. We will complete the
following tasks to achieve this objective:
¦ Market the Corridor to potential developers and businesses using the various strategies described
in the Economic Development Marketing section below.
¦ Assess the potential economic (jobs) and fiscal (taxes) impacts associated with any development
alternatives proposed for the Corridor, including indirect or spin-off benefits that may be created
elsewhere in the city. This assessment will also consider the city's costs to serve each development
alternative as necessary.
II. Available Sites
We will maintain the available sites database of significant commercial properties that are available for
sale or lease and will update the list quarterly or sooner as needed. The list will be disseminated to local
real estate agents, corporate users, and consultants. The list will also be published on the City website,
and included in the available properties lists maintained by Team NEO and the State of Ohio, as
appropriate.
III. Economic Development Marketing
We will manage an economic development marketing campaign, composed of the following:
¦ Promote a marketing message capturing the strengths and goals of the city as a whole;
¦ Develop customized marketing strategies for high-priority development sites including underutilized
parcels at strategic locations throughout the city; and
¦ Communicate the message to key "customers" through:
Tel: 216.263.9000 ( Fax: 216.263.9002
