<br />Ordinance No. 2008 -85 <br />179.04 SECRETARY TO DIRECTOR OF PLANNING. <br />There is hereby created the full-time position of Secretary to the Director of <br />Planning, which shall be appointed by and be answerable to the Director of Planning. <br />The Secretary to the Director of Planning shall have the qualifications of a Secretary I, <br />and shall perform the duties of a Secretary I as required and directed by the Director of' <br />Planning. In addition, when the Secretarv position in the Office of the Mavor is <br />SECTION 2: That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or <br />resolutions, that are inconsistent or in conflict with newly amended Section 179.04 of <br />Chapter 179 (Department of Planning) of the City Administrative Code are hereby <br />repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict only. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />further for the reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately <br />because the MayQr has already taken preliminary steps to make personnel changes <br />consistent with this legislation and delay under these circumstances would have a <br />deleterious effect on personnel morale and thus upon vital government services to the <br />public; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />i <br />? <br />PASSED: <br />.? ? <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Readin • ?' s- O?' <br />Committee: <br />AT ST.• ICARBARA L.
