<br />6.9 The employer realizes that employees are pemutted ta schedule time off for <br />vacations and paid holidays. The employer will do everything possible to see that the employee <br />wiil get time off that is picked in accordance with department golicy as established by the Chief <br />of Police. The employer will not cancel, except in an emergency, any time picked during the <br />original vacation and paid holiday picks. <br />The employer also realizes that emplayees may take other vacation tirne and paid <br />holidays that are not addressed above. In addition, time off is permitted in the form of overtime <br />off and unused sick leave time off.
