CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BY: MAYOR MUSIAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-148 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR MAXMUM OF 35,000 GALLONS OF <br />SODI[JM ALUMINATE FOR A TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD, FOR USE BY <br />THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />AS AMENDED. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for maximum of 35,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for a twelve month <br />period, for use by the Wastewater Treatment Plant, in accordance with specifications now <br />on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the city's asphalt and tack <br />coating requirements and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the mayor. <br />PASSED- <br />, <br />ST: <br />BARBARA L. <br />OF COUNCIL <br />, <br />C vx.-c2 ? ??. <br />J T A.
