CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2000-145 By: Mayor Musial AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SENIOR WORKERS' ACTION PROGRAM/SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM WHEREIN SAID SENIOR WORKERS' ACTION PROGRAM/SENIOR COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM SHALL ACT AS A HOST AGENCY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NORTH OLMSTED CITY SCHOOLS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, in order to fill a specifically defined need for a coordinator job description for the North Olmsted Volunteer Association, it is necessary for the City to implement a program through agreement with the Senior Workers Action Program/Senior Community Service Employment Program, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this council to implement said program. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with the Senior Workers Action Program for the purpose of having said agency act as a host agency in partnership with the North Olmsted City Schools, said agreement is to be in substantial form as is contained in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of North Olmsted and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to fill the position for the North Olmsted Volunteer Association as soon as possible so that the NOVA may proceed, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members of Council it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. . . ; . ... . . . . . ?W,'!l@ .. .'?kM ?4... .. ..... . ..... . . ., ?,. . ,.?., ..,,..ux #Lr,^'.wa.?,s. ?, awu . . . .
