# P <br />r j <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-136 <br />BY: THE MAYOR AND ENTIRE COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO <br />A CONTRACT WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY GENERAL <br />HEALTH DISTRICT FOR THE YEAR 2001, AN DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted, under O.R.C. §3709.08 is a member of <br />the General Health District of Cuyahoga County; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted must enter into a contract for the year <br />2001 for health services to be performed by the Cuyahoga County Health District. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A," with the Cuyahoga <br />County General Health District to provide health services to the City of North Olmsted <br />from January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2001. <br />SECTION 2: That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Director <br />of Finance for authority to pay semi-annual payments under the provisions of this <br />contract. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the continuity of <br />health services to the residents of this City, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative votes of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage. <br />
