# P r j CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2000-136 BY: THE MAYOR AND ENTIRE COUNCIL A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY GENERAL HEALTH DISTRICT FOR THE YEAR 2001, AN DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted, under O.R.C. §3709.08 is a member of the General Health District of Cuyahoga County; and WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted must enter into a contract for the year 2001 for health services to be performed by the Cuyahoga County Health District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A," with the Cuyahoga County General Health District to provide health services to the City of North Olmsted from January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2001. SECTION 2: That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Director of Finance for authority to pay semi-annual payments under the provisions of this contract. SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the continuity of health services to the residents of this City, and further provided it receives the affirmative votes of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
