CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANACE NO. 2000-129 BY: COUNCILMAN MCKAY AN ORDINANACE ESTABLISHING AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION FOR THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE TERM OF OFFICE COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2002 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2005 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, at Article IV, Section 6, requires The Council to fix the compensation for all elected officials at least thirty (30) days prior to the filing date of nominating petitions for terms beginning on the next succeeding 1't day of January; and WHEREAS, the date for filing nominating petitions for elected officials in the City of North Olmsted, is March 9, 2001; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the compensation for all elected officials in compliance with the Charter requirements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the salary to be paid to the Director of Finance for the term commencing January 1, 2002 and ending December 31, 2005, shall be as follows: Effective January l, 2002 through December 31, 2002 -$79,376 Effective January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003 -$81,757 Effective 7anuary l, 2004 through December 31, 2004 -$84,210 Effective January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005 -$86,736 SECTION 2: That in addition to the salary specified in Section 1 hereof, the City of North Olmsted shall provide Health Care coverage in an amount and to the extent that such coverage is provided to non-bargaining unit administrative employees. SECTION 3: That the compensation as specified in Section 1 and 2 hereof are being established only for the purpose of complying with Charter requirements as outlined in Article IV, Section 6, and in no way affect any of the other provisions of any ordinance relating to the organizational chart of either administrative or legislative officers.
