CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 - 119 <br />BY: MAYOR NORMAN T. MUSIAL <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR LIGHTING <br />IMPROVEMENTS AT BALL DIAMOND NUMBER TWO AT <br />NORTH OLMSTED PARK AS DETAILED IN THE PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary plans and specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for lighting improvements at Ball Diamond Number Two at North Olmsted Park <br />according to plans and specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and to <br />expedite the process to utilize the current construction season, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />A EST: ' <br />' Barbara L.
